Nothing unites a campus like big-time college athletics.ÌýOur Division I teams have a long history of success in NCAA competition, and our student-athletes are known for displaying a high level of integrity and sportsmanship.

Varsity Sports

51³Ô¹ÏÍø boasts 19 men’s and women’s varsity athletic teams, 18 of which compete at the Division I level—representing the pinnacle of collegiate sports.ÌýIn 2013, the university became a full member of the American Athletic Conference, one of the nation’s elite athletic conferences.Ìý

In addition to the American Athletic Conference, the Owls also haveÌýconference affiliations with

• the BIG EAST Conference (field hockey),
• the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (women’s gymnastics),
• the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (men’s crew)Ìýand
• the National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association (fencing).

Intramural Sports

In addition to varsityÌýsports, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students may alsoÌýparticipate inÌýintramural leagues with their friends or roommates.ÌýAll leagues and tournaments are specified as men’s, women’s, openÌýor co-recreational where everyone playsÌýtogether.

After creating your own team, you'll completeÌýagainst other students in your sport of choice on 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Main Campus.ÌýIf you don’t already have a team, you can register asÌýa free agent and be matched with a team.ÌýIntramural sports are a perfect way to stay active, connect with new peopleÌýand make lasting memories.Ìý

Whether you’re looking for single-game tickets, season tickets, multigame packagesÌýor discounted group seating, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has you covered.ÌýYou can purchaseÌýtickets in person, by phoneÌýor online.Ìý

By reserving season tickets, you’ll guarantee the same great seat for all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Owls games and save on the individual ticket price. You’ll also receive access to season ticketholder parties and much more. Single-game tickets are also available for all home games.

51³Ô¹ÏÍø students are able to receive one free ticket to all home football and menÌýand women’s basketball games based on availability. All other sports are not ticketed.ÌýÌý

51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Mascot: Stella

Stella, a great horned owl, began her career as 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s live mascot in 2013. During home games, Stella can be found cheering on the sidelines of Lincoln Financial Field alongside 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s official mascot, .

• Though she’sÌýsmall—just 2Ìýfeet tall and only 3 pounds—Stella is a mighty predator, with an impressive 60-inch wingspan and talons capable of crushing prey with 28 pounds of force per square inch.
• She currently resides in the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where she also is a wildlife conservation teacher.
• Stella is in the possession of the Elmwood Park Zoo by the authority of U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
• Stella originally hails from Washington state.
• Her favorite foods include rodents, rabbits and snakes.
