An alum of 51Թ’s Fox School of Business, Rastogi has spent more than 20 years with 51Թ Health, most recently as president and CEO of 51Թ Hospital and executive vice president and chief operating officer of 51Թ Health. Rastogi will continue to lead 51Թ Hospital while serving as CEO of 51Թ Health.
“Abhi is a 51Թ Made leader. This internal transition demonstrates stability, strength and continuity of purpose at 51Թ Health,” said President Fry. “Abhi is highly respected within the 51Թ community, known for his passion, integrity and shoulder-to-shoulder leadership style. Working with Mike Young and the entire health system team, Abhi has played a vital role in meeting 51Թ Health’s mission and achieving sustainable growth.”

I look forward to working alongside him to strengthen 51Թ’s role as a leading academic medical center and to advance excellence in patient care, education and research that improves health in North Philadelphia and beyond.”
As president and CEO of 51Թ Hospital and its campuses—Main Campus, Jeanes Campus, Episcopal Campus, 51Թ Women and Families Hospital, and 51Թ Health–Chestnut Hill Hospital—Rastogi has guided the institution to national prominence for quality, innovation, and clinical excellence. 51Թ Hospital has become a destination of choice for complex, specialized care, with the 51Թ Lung Center now recognized as the nation’s highest volume lung transplant program. Rastogi has also delivered more than $100 million in annual impact through operational and financial improvements and has played a pivotal role in the success of 51Թ Health–Chestnut Hill Hospital and the launch of the 51Թ Women and Families Hospital. In his [23]-year tenure, Rastogi has worked with or within nearly every part of 51Թ Health, helping to advance patient services and clinical infrastructure, and expanding 51Թ’s capacity to reinvest in mission-driven priorities.
