Biography

Alyson Hansbarger is a doctoral student in the health policy and health services research program at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. She received her bachelor of science in athletic training from Duquesne University in 2018 and her master of science in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2020. She has spent the last four years working as a certified athletic trainer in youth, high school and college sports settings. She also has experience teaching anatomy and physiology at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and Bryn Mawr College. Her research interests include concussion testing, concussion education and access to athletic training services. Alyson also currently serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society.
