Research & Facilities

The College of Education and Human Development is committed to improving the learning process for students at all levels and in all types of organizations. The college has three research centers and one institute, including the , where researchers aim to improve community capacity and civic engagement by supporting initiatives like foster parent support, immigrant services and training that strengthen social ties among those of different ages.

The College also has academic departments dedicated to improving educational policy, leadership and organization, and instructional strategies, as well as understanding the relationship between behavioral health and learning. Learn more about the .

Facilities

The Adult Learning, Training and Organizational Development MEd is exclusively offered at 51�Թ���’s Center City campus, located across the street from City Hall in the heart of Philadelphia’s downtown business district.

The College of Education and Human Development is primarily located in Ritter Hall, Ritter Hall Annex, and Weiss Hall on the Main Campus. The campus’ North Philadelphia location is ideally suited to provide opportunities for students to engage with area schools, communities, government agencies, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
