Composition Portfolio

There are no audition requirements for the Music Composition major. Applicants must submit a portfolio that includesÌýaÌýPDF of three original composition scores. All portfolios should be submitted via . Recordings can supplement scores, but are not required.

Interview and Testing Information

Applicants who pass the prescreening requirements are invited for a live interview and portfolio review, as well as diagnostic and piano testing, with Boyer faculty members.

International Students

You are an international student if you hold or will need to obtain a nonimmigrant visa, including a student (F-1) or an exchange visitor (J-1) visa.

International students must submit either their TOEFL or IELTS scores. The minimum score of 79 on TOEFL iBT or 6.0 on IELTS is required for admission.
