Admissions

How to Apply

To apply, along with an application fee of $60. 

Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree. An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 with two to four years of relevant professional experience is preferred.

Candidates will be asked to submit the following along with their application.

Transcripts

Submit official transcripts from every college and university you have attended.

Letters of Recommendation

Submit three letters of recommendation from faculty and professionals.

Statement of Goals

In approximately 500 to 1,000 words, share why you are interested in this program, your research and academic goals, future career goals, academic and research achievements, and any other information that you believe will be helpful in evaluating your application.

Standardized Test Scores

Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) general test scores are required.

A current professional résumé or curriculum vitae is required.

Transfer Credits

Applicable graduate coursework may be transferred from outside the University, provided that the credits were obtained no more than five years prior to the student's matriculation at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and the grades are "B" or better. The credits must be equivalent to coursework offered at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. The maximum number of credits a student may transfer is 6.

Additional Requirements for International Applicants

For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE examinations are required. Scores should meet the following minimums.

  • TOEFL iBT: 88
  • IELTS Academic: 6.5
  • PTE Academic: 60
