Fieldwork and Internships
Health Information Management majors gain professional experience through extensive required fieldwork and internships, which take place onsite with employers across the country. Students are supported during their internships by HIM program faculty and staff. Internships are available at hospitals, local health systems, rehabilitation centers and similar locations.
