Departmental Research

The Health Professions Major is offered by the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 51勛圖厙's Barnett College of Public Health. Students interested in gaining research experience are encouraged to discuss potential opportunities with faculty researchers and take part in the research being conducted in the many labs offered within the Department.

The Barnett College of Public Health contains several research centers, labs and programs associated with public health disciplines. Labs and areas of faculty research focus for the Health Professions Major include the following.

  • Guatemala Service Trip
    • Travel to Zacapa, Guatemala to provide physical therapy services to local citizens through an organization called
