School Psychology PhD students have multiple opportunities to work with faculty on research studies. Faculty researchers are funded by high-profile organizations like the , the , the and the . Faculty members serve as assistant editors and on editorial boards of publications such as the School Psychology Review and the Journal of School Psychology. In addition faculty maintain high-level positions in prominent organizations such as Division 16 (School Psychology Division) of the .

Labs & Clinics

The school psychology faculty have active research labs, such as the , and are leaders in assessment research within larger university centers, such as the Center for Assessment and Evaluation.

Doctoral students are closely involved with 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s , which provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for adolescents, children and young adults who are experiencing academic difficulties. Such difficulties may be related to behavioral, emotional or social problems; learning disabilities; or neurological impairment.

College of Education and Human Development Research Centers

The College of Education and Human Development is committed to improving the learning process for students of all ages in all types of educational or training organizations. Research centers include the following. 

The college also has departments dedicated to improving educational policy, organization and leadership; instructional strategies; and understanding of the relationship between behavioral health and learning.
