Admissions

How to Apply

To apply,  along with an application fee of $60.

All College of Education and Human Development candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in a related field before applying to a graduate program. However, in the past, students without a related bachelor’s degree have performed well in the program. Therefore, an applicant’s entire application package will be considered.

Candidates will be asked to submit the following along with their application.

Transcripts

Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all accredited institutions you have attended and/or from which you earned credit. Official transcripts can be emailed to  or sent to the Office of Enrollment Management address listed below.

Statement of Goals

Write a 500- to 1,000-word statement of purpose outlining your interest in seeking a master’s degree with a specific focus on the career to which you aspire, your interests, and your relevant academic and job-related experiences.

Recommendations

Submit two letters of reference that provide insight into your academic competence. References from college or university faculty members are recommended. You may request recommendations through your or send them using the paper (pdf) to the below mailing address.

Additional Requirements for International Students

International applicants should also submit the following materials.

  • An official document that validates completion and conferral of a degree, diploma and/or certificate. While not required, applicants are encouraged to submit transcripts to the for evaluation.
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS exam scores if you are a non-native speaker of English. A minimum score of 79 TOEFL iBT or 6.5 on IELTS is required for admission. .
