The Communication Studies Majors Career Services offers specialized, career-related programming exclusively to Klein College students. Klein strongly encourages students to participate in internships so they can apply the skills and knowledge they learned in their degree programs to a real-world, fast-paced work environment.

Communication is a vital part of any organization, whether its learning to communicate internally with your team or externally with your audiences and vendors. With the versatility of our Communication Studies program, graduates will be prepared to enter a number of communication positions in a variety of areas, including but not limited to

  • corporate relations and brand strategy;
  • education and instructional development;
  • entrepreneurship and freelance communication;
  • global and intercultural policy;
  • health and public health;
  • human and social services;
  • law, politics and civic engagement;
  • media, strategic communication and content creation; and
  • technology, innovation and user experience.

Graduates from the Communication Studies program have continued their education in law schools and graduate schools, while others have entered media-related fields or obtained international positions. Additionally, graduates from Lew Klein College of Media and Communication have found careers in national media for organizations such as , , , , and , as well as regional employers like , , , , , , , and many others.
